Learn to create aesthetically pleasing, environmentally focused kitchen and bath spaces. Gain foundational design skills and a specialized understanding of kitchen and bath features. Build expertise in cabinetry, fixtures, appliances, and electrical and plumbing solutions. Learn to work with architects and builders, specifying materials and producing floor and lighting plans.

How To Apply

  • Apply online and pay the $30 application fee.
  • Submit a copy of one of the following to demonstrate your reading, writing and math skills:
    • High school GPA of 2.60 or above. Transcript must include completed coursework through the 11th grade.*
    • ACT, ACCUPLACER® or GED - 2014 Series (165 or higher).*
    • Prior college coursework may meet this requirement in whole or in part. Courses must be in the specific area(s), and you must have earned a grade of C or better (2.0 on a 4.0 scale) in the courses.*
    • If none of the above apply, sign up for the ACCUPLACER® placement test.

What Makes This Program Unique

  1. Earn two degrees in three years by combining this program with Interior DesignThe dual degree programs can only be started in the fall semester. You must submit an individual application for both programs.
  2. WCTC is an NKBA Affiliated School. Affiliated schools join with the Association to promote best practices in education and opportunity for the next generation of kitchen and bath professionals.
  3. Coursework in the dual degree program provides credit hours towards eligibility for both the National Council for Interior Design Qualification Certification (NCIDQ exam) and NKBA Kitchen and Bath Design Certification.
