Welcome, homeschoolers! WCTC is proud to provide a supportive environment for all learners, including the homeschooled students in our community. We understand the unique journey you have taken, and we’re here to help you transition to college with ease. Check out opportunities to earn college credits during and after your homeschooling experience.

Get a Head Start on College

Homeschooled students are invited to take advantage of a wide range of opportunities during high school, where they can get a taste of college life and earn valuable credits toward a future degree. Homeschooled students must meet course prerequisites and are responsible for all course costs.

Dual Enrollment Academy

WCTC’s Dual Enrollment Academy invites qualified high school students to explore in-demand career areas while earning up to 30 college credits and an industry-recognized credential.

Excelerate

Ideal for students with a clear career path, Excelerate allows high school students who are ready for the rigor of a college program to enroll in a WCTC associate degree, technical diploma or certificate.

Take a Course

WCTC offers hundreds of courses designed with your future in mind. Most classes are just 8 weeks long! If you're interested in taking a class and are not seeking a degree or financial aid, no application is necessary.

Homeschool Transcripts

Homeschool transcripts submitted to WCTC must include:

  • Student's full legal name
  • Student's date of birth
  • Homeschool name (if applicable)
  • Graduation date (or projected graduation date)
  • Courses completed, including title, grade and credit earned*
  • GPA on a 4.0 scale

*Chemistry: WCTC only accepts homeschooled high school chemistry courses with at least one full credit and a lab component, completed with a C or better.
