Welcome to the WCTC Family!

The Student Onboarding and Registration (SOAR) process is your roadmap to success at WCTC. Whether you're a new, returning or transfer student, our goal is to ensure your student experience is as smooth as possible. We're here to help you navigate the course registration process and provide you with helpful resources before your classes begin.

Follow the steps below to register for courses at WCTC. We look forward to seeing you in class!

Complete New Student Registration Modules

Registration modules will be available here beginning September 16, 2024.

You will be prompted to log in when you begin. Log in using your myWCTC username and password. Contact the IT Service Desk at 262.691.5555 if you need login assistance.

Register for Courses

  1. Review DegreeWorks: Log into myWCTC, then locate DegreeWorks. Here, you'll find courses required for your program, any applicable completed courses (i.e. transfer credits) and placement requirements.
  2. Locate Your Program Plan: Select your program in the catalog and choose the program plan that fits your schedule.
     
  3. Register for Classes: Access the registration portal to verify course availability and register. 
    • Select "Register for Classes" and select the term.
    • Search your courses, add them to your account, then select "Submit."

  4. Review your Schedule and Confirm Registration: Select "View Current or Past Schedules" and select the term.

Important Reminders:

Registration Dates

  • New student registration begins Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
  • Spring Term 1 (8-week and 16-week courses) begins Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
  • Course registration is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Financial Aid Recipients: Confirm the status of your financial aid award, or be prepared to set up a payment plan.
  • Associate of Arts and Associate of Science students with an advising hold, schedule an appointment with your academic advisor prior to registration.

Jump Start Sessions

Come jump-start your WCTC experience at an optional in-person welcome session. Designed for students registered for classes in the upcoming semester, you’ll get a taste of campus life just in time to kick off your classes with confidence.
