When is In-Service offered?

Sessions are offered in fall (mid-September to early December) and repeated in spring (late February to late May).

What topics are covered?

Agencies who attend In-Service are invited to attend an annual topic planning meeting, usually in April, to provide input for the upcoming fall session. Typically, DAAT/Tactics, Legal update, firearms and either emergency vehicle operations (EVOC) or vehicle pursuit training (VPT) are offered. Additional topics are selected to complete the week.

When can I register myself or an officer(s) for In-Service?

Fall Sessions

For departments wishing to register for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, priority registration generally begins the last week of June. Registration for individual days generally begins the second week of July.

Spring Sessions

Spring:  For departments wishing to register for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, priority registration generally begins the last week of October. Registration for individual days generally begins the second week of November.

How do I switch an officer’s In-Service dates?

Contact Kelly Anagnostopoulos, 262.691.5556, to submit a request. You will be notified if the switch can be accommodated.

Can I cancel a registration online?

Will I receive confirmation after registration?

Yes, you should receive a confirmation pop-up upon successful registration. A reminder email will be sent to the person who registered and to the officers attending one week prior to class with additional details and information.

What materials or equipment do I need to bring to In-Service?
