Linux Essentials

Course Description

Develop a solid foundation for using and understanding Linux, an open source operating system. Learn how to work with the shell, install software, edit configuration files, create scripts, manage processes and work with the Linux file system. Upon completion of the course, administer a Linux system by managing users and groups, set permissions and configure networking. This course also provides preparation for the Linux Essentials certification from LPI.
