First aid and CPR skills are essential in a wide range of professions and useful for just about anyone! All courses include an American Heart Association certification, valid for two years. Choose a course below and follow the "Ready to Register" link to get started.
Learn first aid procedures for injuries, including bleeding control; bone, joint and muscle injuries; burns; and specific injuries to the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis and spine. Address sudden illnesses, including seizures, diabetic emergencies, poisoning, bites and stings, and heat and cold emergencies.
Spring 2025 Courses
This program combines the Heartsaver AED and First Aid courses. Learn to perform adult CPR, relieve a foreign body airway obstruction, use a barrier device during rescue breathing, use an automated external defibrillator (AED) and provide first aid for acute injuries and sudden illnesses.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) curriculum and testing include one- and two-rescuer adult CPR, adult and pediatric obstructed airway, use of an AED and pediatric CPR. This course is appropriate for healthcare providers and other professional rescuers in need of initial training or renewal of current certification.

This course is appropriate for health care providers and other professional rescuers who carry a current health care provider card.
After completing a CPR course, you will receive an email from eCards@heart.org prompting you to claim your eCard. Follow the steps provided in the email to receive your electronic CPR card. If you already claimed your card but need another copy, follow these instructions.
