Suicide is a critical issue affecting our community. WCTC students, faculty and staff are invited to learn how to identify risk factors and signs of suicide, as well as how to effectively communicate with someone who may be struggling. You'll gain practical skills for offering support and connecting individuals to the right resources, potentially saving lives. This training equips you with the knowledge and confidence to make a real difference for someone in crisis.
This training may be difficult for someone who has recently lost a loved one to suicide. A WCTC mental health counselor will be available after the training session.
