- Acquire skills in both technical cooking and business management.
- Explore the latest culinary techniques and trends in areas including garde manger, quality food preparation, and international/regional cuisine.
- Understand principles behind profitable fiscal management in areas such as purchasing, budgeting and report analysis.
- Learn from award-winning Instructors, including two American Culinary Federation-Milwaukee Chapter Chefs of the Year and a winner of the Golden Toque.
- Gain realistic experience by operating the "Classic Room" gourmet restaurant, open to the public.
- Take part in international study tours.
- Receive certification as a Certified Culinarian (CC) when an American Culinary Federation member at the time of graduation.
