Prepare for a technical career working with electronic equipment such as bedside monitor systems and EKG machines. There is an ever-increasing reliance of electronics to test and monitor patients in health care facilities which has created a strong a strong need for biomedical electronics technicians. Graduates are hired by hospitals and clinics to install and maintain equipment and manufacturers to build and test biomedical equipment.
