The Professional Credential for Child Care Administrators (Wisconsin) short-term certificate program provides in-depth training for effective leadership in early childhood settings. The wide variety of roles of an early childhood administrator or director are explored and addressed, including current information on organizational management, administration, policy, marketing, finances, child development and advocacy in the early childhood field. Individuals who will most benefit from the certificate include current administrators and staff in early care /education and early intervention programs, and family child care providers who wish to gain practical information and develop a deeper understanding about the administrative role.

Credit Transfer Opportunities

WCTC has agreements with local high schools and various four-year colleges and universities that enable students to transition more seamlessly from high school to WCTC to four-year colleges. Transcripted credit agreements provide high school students the opportunity to take WCTC courses at their high schools. Agreements with four-year colleges enable WCTC graduates in selected programs to transfer credits, often at junior-level standing. Agreements currently in place for this program are listed below.
