807-632 Qi Gong for Vitality & Healing
Designed for beginners and continuing students of all physical abilities, learn to create a body without pain. Qi Gong, sometimes called "the new yoga," means energy cultivation (through steady practice). Using simple breathing, the flow of Qi Gong can be learned very quickly. Its rhythmic exercises mimic the gentle movements from nature, especially the fluidity of water. Qi Gong can relieve stress, boost the immune system and enhance the body's own ability to heal. A variety of styles will be practiced. The longer class time allows for increased health benefits, flow of energy and enjoyment. These ancient movements are the basis for Tai Chi. Students are encouraged to wear flat shoes and comfortable clothing.
