Many physicians recognize the benefits of Tai Chi to relieve stress, balance blood pressure and emotions, and improve health and bone density. This adaptive Tai Chi class is designed for people of all abilities, including those using a walker, scooter or wheelchair; those needing assistance standing; and those who need to be seated. It is ideal for people with physical limitations, chronic pain, MS, Parkinson's, arthritis, memory loss (with caregiver) among other conditions. The flow of Tai Chi is shared in a relaxed, supportive manner, while movement patterns and brief form are practiced gradually. Bring comfortable clothing and flat shoes to class.
