801-623 Creative Writing

The written word is a powerful tool that can tell a story in a variety of ways: straightforward, creative, factual and many other styles. Develop awareness of the writing process, engage in creative thinking and practice writing skills. This course will focus on short story, poetry, feature articles and other styles of writing. Participants will write frequently and submit their work for class evaluation and instructor review. Fluency in oral and written English is required.
