303-678 Knife Skills
Handling a knife with dexterity and skill in the kitchen is a basic building block of cooking. Honing your knife skills will save you time, effort, improve the appearance of the food and build your cooking confidence! During this four hour class, you will learn knife identification, handling, keeping a knife sharp, safety and knife maintenance. You will then learn and practice cutting techniques such as peeling, chopping, dicing, mincing, julienne, chiffonade and supreme. Instructor: Chef Bruce Cartwright
