Industrial Laser Operator

8-credit Certificate

With hands-on practice, develop a solid foundation and relevant skills in laser cutting technology. Learn how to operate a CO2 industrial laser, apply blueprint reading skills to laser operations, use proper laser safety and develop computer-assisted programming skills. This opportunity is particularly beneficial for production workers, machine operators and anyone interested in becoming a laser operator.

Credits from this short-term certificate program may be applied toward the General Manufacturing AAS degree and other degree or diploma programs within the manufacturing area of the School of Applied Technologies.
