Apart from WCTC Foundation Scholarships, the Financial Aid Office also has applications for the following external scholarships.
Summer Scholarship Blood Drives
Amount: Up to $1000Targeted Area: All Students
Application Available: no
Eligibility Criteria: This summer, give the gift of life to someone in your community AND receive the opportunity to win a $1000 scholarship. Receive an entry just for donating blood. Community members, including teachers, families and friends can donate on behalf of an eligible student to increase a student's chances.

FMA (Fabricators and Manufacturers Association) Foundation
Amount: 12 $1000 Scholarships to be awardedDeadline: None
Targeted Area: Students enrolled in a curriculum program that will lead to a career in the metal forming and fabricating industry.
Application Available: no
Eligibility Criteria: Students interested in the metal forming sector of manufacturing; students currently enrolled or are considering enrolling in a curriculum program.

Miller Park Scholarship

Targeted Area: Electronic Techonology, Architectural Technology/Drafting, Carpentry, Manufacturing & Metal Fab Welding, Building Construction, Bricklaying/Masonry, Facilities Maintenance

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must be enrolled and accepted in a program carrying a minimum of 6 credits at the time of the scholarship award. Eligibility is determined by the applicant's demonstrated financial need and academic achievement. Applicants already enrolled in college must have a 2.5 grade point average in their area of study, based on a 4.0 scale. Applicants must submit two recommendations. If the applicant is currently enrolled in a technical college, one recommendation MUST be from an instructor in their program of study. Students who have satisfactorily completed their current work with a 2.5 grade point average may have the option to renew for the next semester.

Wisconsin Laboratory Association

Teach Early Childhood Wisconsin Infant Toddler Scholarship

Carroll College - Transfer Scholarships

Eligibility Criteria: Excel Scholarship - Awarded to those full-time students transferring to Carroll with a cumulative GPA of 2.8 to 4.0 Founders Scholarship - Awarded to those full-time students transferring to Carroll with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 - 2.79.

Wisconsin Automobile & Truck Dealers
Amount: $1250 to $5300Targeted Area: Currently enrolled as an automotive student

Eligibility Criteria: Be a Wisconsin resident. Be a graduating high school senior, or anyone planning to enroll or currently enrolled as an automotive, auto collision or diesel technician student at a NATEF- Certified Wisconsin Technical College. Plan to pursue a career in the automotive, diesel or auto collision technician field, preferably in the state of Wisconsin. Have successfully completed a series of five assessment evaluations at one of the testing sites listed on the enclosed Scholarship Assessment Form.

Wisc Amusement & Music Operators Assoc (WAMO)

Eligibility Criteria: Must be accepted or enrolled for six or more credits at any Wisconsin Technical College and must have a recommendation from a WAMO member.

Kenosha Co. Dairy Promotion Scholarship 2010

Targeted Area: Kenosha County Residence

Eligibility Criteria: The Kenosha County Dairy Promotion will be offering one scholarship in the amount of $500. The scholarship is open to students who are Kenosha County residents. It is given to a high school senior or anyone interested in enrolling or is enrolled in one of the following: any Four-year University/College; Two-year; Tech School; or a Short Course, pursuing a degree or certificate in the agriculture field (dairy science, animal science, horticulture, etc.). The Scholarship will not be awarded until the second term/semester of 2010-2011 school year pending proof of 2.75 GPA.
