The 2013-2014 WCTC 4K Enrollment is Now Open

The WCTC Child Development Center offers an a.m. session of Pewaukee School district sponsored 4K. This is a tuition free program for residents of the Pewaukee School District and offers optional extended child care for working families.

Who Can Participate?

Any child who will be four years old by September 1, 2013 will be eligible to participate. Students who reside outside of the Pewaukee School District will be considered on a tuition-paying basis.

How Much Will It Cost?

There will be no charge to Pewaukee School District parents for district sponsored programming; Non-district families are charged tuition based upon the programs current fees. Parents are responsible for child care costs beyond the 4K hours of 8:30am-11:30am.

What Can I Expect?

As an early education program the WCTC/ Pewaukee 4K will focus on reading and language arts, but will also include math, social studies, science, health, physical education, creative art and music. Young children learn by doing, exploring and experimenting in an integrated, nurturing environment. A typical day would include some teacher-directed instruction, many "hands-on" activities and opportunities for child-initiated play.

Extended Child Care or "Wrap-around" Services

The WCTC Child Development Centers offers before and after school programming for enrolled 4K students and siblings. Extended care is available 7am- 8:30am and 11:30am-6pm. Bussing is available to and from the Pewaukee Schools for siblings of enrolled children should families require a one stop drop off/pick up. Extended care services offers breakfast/lunch and afternoon snack within the cost of tuition.

We are sorry, but the program cannot guarantee before and afterschool programming for children attending 4K on the Pewaukee Lake School site. All extended care slots are reserved for children enrolled at the WCTC site. Outside B/A school enrollment will be considered only after WCTC 4K enrollments have been placed.
