"I believe any learner can master the sciences if they are given the right tools, guidance, and encouragement. One important part of my job is breaking down complicated scientific concepts so that students find them more accessible and understandable. An equally important part of my job is helping students identify effective tools for their own independent study. If I'm doing my job well, students not only master their science classes, they also build the skills and confidence to tackle any future learning challenge."
