Rick Goodson has over twenty-five years of experience in manufacturing and quality operations, and fourteen years of consulting and coaching experience implementing Lean and Quality Management Systems. With extensive background in Lean techniques, Mr. Goodson has conducted over thirty Value Stream Mapping projects and an equal amount of 5S and Kaizen events. In addition, he has assisted over fifty organizations in implementing ISO 9001 and TS 16949 Quality Management Systems. Mr. Goodson is an instructor for the Milwaukee section of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) teaching Failure Modes and Effect Analysis, Mistake Proofing and Value Stream Mapping. In addition, he has assisted organizations by providing instruction in Statistical Process Control, Measurement System Analysis, and Production Part Approval Process.
Mr. Goodson is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and a senior member of the American Society for Quality. He holds a Lean Knowledge Certificate from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME). He is an ASQ certified Quality Engineer and certified Quality Auditor, and an International Registrar of Certified Auditors (IRCA) certified QMS 2008 Lead Auditor.
Mr. Goodson holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from the University of West Florida and a Master of Business Administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management.
