Course Description
This study-abroad experience is offered in partnership with the University of Sunderland in England. Explore the National Health Service from both service-user and healthcare professional perspectives. Analyze healthcare across both the U.K. and the U.S. and explore the influence and role of nurses. Visit Health Care Trusts and work with service users to explore factors that impact healthcare provision, personal journeys, and political and financial influences. Visit regional hospitals, mental healthcare organizations and other community-based healthcare facilities. Hear presentations from healthcare professionals across multiple fields of study.
