ACLS Instructor

Course Description

This 8 hour American Heart Association course is designed to give experienced ACLS providers the skills necessary to teach others to provide Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Instructor candidates will learn how to deliver the ACLS content through role-play scenarios and class discussions of teaching techniques and strategies. Upon successful completion of the course, ACLS Instructor Candidates will be monitored teaching an ACLS course. After successful completion of monitoring, the ACLS Instructor candidate will be issued an Instructor certification card good for a 2 year cycle. Instructor candidates must have a current ACLS Provider card, be affiliated with an AHA Training Center and must complete the online AHA ACLS Instructor Essentials course prior to attending this course.
