Course Description

Learn about health disparities and social determinants of health. Gain an understanding of how access to healthcare, community context, education, employment, economic stability and transportation all affect one's health and wellness. Discuss current local and national initiatives. This course is intended for healthcare professionals, students and anyone interested in the topic. This course awards three nursing contact hours.
