CDL-B to CDL-A w/Restrictions

Course Description

This course will focus on loading procedures, weight distribution techniques, security issues, operational skills and behind-the-wheel instruction of a professional truck driver in a Class A truck with an automatic transmission pulling a trailer. At end of class, students will be able to sign up to test for their CDL-A license with restrictions. This course requires the student have a current Class B license (earned prior to February 7, 2022), a current Fed-Med card, and a Current Class A permit from the DMV. The course fees do not include CDL testing fees or a DOT Approved Drug Test (required prior to the start of class).

This course is not offered in the current semester.
